About the Role:
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic leader who loves working with young children and is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. As our Assistant Director / Lead Infant-Toddler Teacher, you’ll guide and support a team of caring educators, partner with families to foster each child’s success, and bring creativity into the classroom through age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee and mentor teachers to ensure exceptional care and learning experiences.
- Build strong relationships with families, supporting each child’s unique development
- Plan and implement engaging activities that encourage exploration and learning.
Requirements:
- Oregon Criminal Background Check
- Infant/Child/Adult First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Oregon Food Handlers Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Three references who can speak to your reliability and work ethic (at least one from a previous employer)
- Experience working with children ages 6 weeks–6 years old
- Strong leadership, multitasking skills, and reliability
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
